An EF5 tornado struck near Enderlin, North Dakota, with winds over 210 mph, derailing trains and wiping out a farmstead. Three lives were lost, but surprisingly, no one else was injured despite the tornado's one-mile-wide path. The last EF5 was in 2013 in Moore, Oklahoma.
