After defeating Soumaoro Kanté at the Battle of Kirina, he built a kingdom grounded in justice, trade, and unity. Sundiata introduced the Kouroukan Fouga Charter, one of the world’s first constitutions, promoting equality and human rights centuries before Europe’s Magna Carta.
