Jul 3, 2019 · .tsx have included JSX also. On another point of view, you can copy everything from a .ts file and paste on .tsx file, and you don't need to modify anything. But if you're copying from a .tsx file you need to refactor it by removing the JSX elements.

Sep 21, 2015 · @DanielRosenwasser I've run into a lot of trouble trying to use extends {} because in that case your function wouldn't accept something pretty common like React.ReactNode (which can be null).

I had a similar issue when importing react-helmet inside my .tsx file. Worked it out by installing types for it: npm install --save @types/react-helmet . If you would like to disable it site wide, you can instead edit tsconfig.json and set noImplicitAny to false: "compilerOptions": { ..., "noImplicitAny": false, }

May 11, 2020 · This fixed this issue for me! Not sure why, as it's counterintuitive. I'm using the VSCode prettier extension and have my User [Javascript] Default Formatter pointing to that (Prettier). That was working for .js files. But it was not working for .tsx files - until I deactived TypeScript > Format: Enable. –
