Affiliate is a low bar of entry distraction meant to bind new creators to twitch and give the company as much ad space as possible. It has no bearing on your success until long after you've done the hard work first of building up your channel.

Aug 27, 2022 · So I use when I got affiliate cause that's when I became/was becoming a constant streamer. I know it's been 2 years based on being subscribed to myself, but again, it doesn't give you a date. So if anyone knows where I can find the actual date, I'd greatly appreciate that info.

There is no reason at all to quit your affiliate status. Twitch only owns the content you stream to twitch for 24 hours. Just do not stream the same content to twitch and another platform at the same time. Don't take this the wrong way please but your plan doesn't make any sense at all. Your not a partner and twitch doesn't own you.

- Don't be in twitch just to make money, if your only goal is to get to affiliate to make money you won't make it far. I'm excited to get to affiliate so that my viewers can gain channel points- the community are currently coming up with ideas on what I should add for viewer points. Sep 18, 2023 · As a twitch affiliate I am aware that we're not allowed to multistream. However I've watched decently sized streamers do so anyways without any penalties. What is the loophole? Most of them are streaming to 5 platform at once.

Hard cap is the maximum amount of bitrate you can use, twitch don't allow you to use higher than 8k bitrate. Honestly, it's such a minimal gain going from 6k to 7k that I wouldn't take the risk of having issues when it comes to the viewers watching your stream.

Aug 14, 2023 · For the year part, if you were earning any money soon after becoming affiliate, you could probably go to Dashboard > Analytics > Overview, and poke around the months/years to see when you actually generated any revenue, and that should give you a better idea.

Mar 25, 2020 · I am overjoyed that I recently met the criteria to be invited to the twitch affiliate program but I have some questions about registering as a minor (I'm 15). I saw that on the Twitch Affiliate FAQ, minors over the age of 13 can apply for the program can apply as long as their parent or guardian signs off on the affiliate agreement for them.
