The Pittsburgh Steelers and superstar edge rusher T.J. Watt are having a tough time in contract talks, which could lead to a trade in the worst-case scenario. If that plays out, Watt reportedly has his eye on the Detroit Lions.

The Pittsburgh Steelers reportedly aren't close to signing Watt to a contract extension after he stayed away from the team through its mandatory minicamp that wrapped up on June 12.

Watt has put together an amazing tenure with the Steelers. He has played in 121 total games with the franchise, racking up 462 total tackles, 108 sacks, 33 forced fumbles, 12 fumble recoveries, seven interceptions, and 50 defended passes.
