Walker Valley won its first-ever TSSAA softball state championship, beating Green Hill 10-8 in an extra-inning epic on May 21 at MTSU.

Lacey Keck delivered a walk-off single to lift Gibbs to the Class 3A TSSAA softball state championship, beating DeKalb County, 1-0, on May 23 at MTSU's Blue Raider Softball Field in Murfreesboro.
