Texas Rangers shortstop Corey Seager was put on the injured list again because of a hamstring strain her suffered on May 11.
Corey Seager has been placed on the 10-day injured list again by the Texas Rangers. The two-time World Series MVP shortstop had already missed four of their previous five games because of right hamstring soreness before the move Tuesday.

Though the Tigers had built up more credibility by snagging five wins in a row, they had a tough pill to swallow in the second game of the series. They got away with a 2-1 win thanks to a dominant pitching performance from Tarik Skubal. Detroit did not get that type of outing from any of its pitching on Saturday night.

Seager, who suffered a right hamstring strain against the Athletics on April 22, is still feeling the effects of the injury. On May 3, the shortstop was activated from his first stint on the IL this season. However, he has appeared in just five of the team’s nine games since.
The Tigers were drubbed for the second straight game by the Texas Rangers, 6-1, dropping their first home series of the season.
