There was no need for Detroit Tigers ace Tarik Skubal to change things up because his changeup was working Sunday night against the Minnesota Twins.

Skubal struck out 13 over seven shutout innings to lead the Detroit Tigers to a 3-0 win over the Minnesota Twins on Sunday night at Comerica Park. The Tigers (53-32) took two of three from the Twins (40-44) this weekend, punctuating the series with Skubal’s gem in front of a sellout crowd and a national television audience.

The Tigers were on ESPN Sunday Night Baseball for the first time since 2017 and Skubal completely stole the show, striking out a career-high tying 13 in seven, one-hit scoreless innings as the Tigers won the rubber match against the Twins, 3-0, at Comerica Park.
