A long-vacant site in downtown Muskegon that once housed a gas station, auto shop, rubber company and dry cleaner is being transformed into a new affordable housing development.

Fun, food, crafts and a running event was the order of the day at the Fruitland Covenant Church Blueberry Festival July 26.
