On the night of Wednesday, February 26, the Russian army launched 177 Shahed strike drones at Ukrainian territory. Air defense units operated in 10 regions, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

Russia and Ukraine launched dozens of drones at each other Wednesday in aerial attacks that left energy facilities damaged, one dead and at least four wounded in Ukraine, officials said. Explosions rang out in Kyiv after the Ukrainian air force said Russia launched 177 drones of various types on the country.

One of the drones hit and set ablaze a two-story private house where the body of the deceased was found by firefighters. A 19-year-old girl and a 44-year-old man were treated for injuries at the scene.
