Local, state and federal agencies are investigating a cyberattack against the City of St. Paul that caused the city to shut down its information systems.

St. Paul Mayor Melvin Carter says that the investigation is continuing into the cyberattack that hit the city. The city suffered a digital security breach by a targeted attacker starting last Friday. The phone system is running again, but the mayor says there is no specific timeline of when city systems will be fully up and running.
