Tropical Storm Alvin has formed in the Pacific Ocean. Here's a look at the storm's projected path and spaghetti models.

Tropical Storm Alvin was located about 670 miles (1,080 kilometers) south-southeast of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula of Mexico, the Miami-based National Hurricane Center said.

Alvin is forecast to maintain tropical storm strength through Saturday. However, a slight weakening in wind intensity is anticipated as it tracks northward over cooler ocean waters, according to AccuWeather experts.
