The National Weather Service issued four tips for "extreme hit" on Thursday afternoon. There is a major heat wave coming for the United States. Much of the country is set to experience temperatures in the high 90s or even low 100s in the coming days.

Chris Kimvle, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in St. Louis, said they can look at pictures and videos to confirm a tornado, but if it’s not clear, they have to send someone out to survey damage and assess the track and strength of the tornado.

Around 12:40 on Tuesday afternoon, a tornado touched down northeast of Divide, Colorado. Winds are estimated to be around 106mph.
