Venezuelan fans are turning the World Baseball Classic in Miami into a celebration. Venezuela played the Netherlands on Friday, and Venezuelan fans packed the lower deck near their country's dugout.

There were thousands of Venezuelans at the game in Miami on Tuesday night. There were thousands of Americans, too, and some — like Cuerta, a Venezuelan American — got to basically cheer for both sides.

As President Trump held a press conference in Doral on Iran, Cuba, and his call with Putin, crowds gathered at a local Venezuelan hotspot amid tight security.

American will operate the first passenger flights from the U.S. to Venezuela in years.
