Four years after inflicting deadly abuse on a child, his mother and the man she was dating have been sentenced.

The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jason Rahul Chitnis, 21, on Tuesday. Jail records show he faces charges of felony murder and assault resulting in the death of a child.

Deputies arrested Dyamond Hudson, 26, on a homicide warrant in connection with the death of 5-year-old Lance Stowers. ANother suspect, Jason Chitnis, remains in custody.
