ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KCTV) - The Chiefs spent their fourth-round draft pick on tight end Jared Wiley in 2024, but his rookie season was cut short after tearing his ACL in practice in November of 2024. An ACL tear usually takes a year to rehab, but he and the Chiefs trainers set a goal to get him playing by training camp.

Wiley is the third tight end in a Chiefs offense that shapes the position as a weapon. Kelce, in his 13th season, is one of the most productive tight ends in NFL history. Backup Noah Gray, in his fifth, has improved his numbers every year and his five touchdown receptions last season topped the KC tight ends.
