Steelers wide receiver George Pickens said repeatedly during his media session Friday he was just there so he wouldn’t get fined when the subject of his postgame fight with Browns cornerback Greg Newsome II came up.

Both players from the Browns and Steelers received fines on Saturday from the Week 12 game in Cleveland. None were George Pickens nor Greg Newsome II.

George Pickens had a rough night with the Pittsburgh Steelers losing to the Cleveland Browns in the snow. That wasn’t just because his squad took the L, but because the Steelers wideout got into a fracas with Browns cornerback Greg Newsome II as the game-ended on an incomplete Hail Mary attempt.
