Microsoft has announced that it will discontinue its Microsoft Lens application in the coming weeks, directing its users to its Copilot artificial intelligence application. The Lens application serves as a mobile scanner for all sorts of documents.

Neowin highlighted a blog post from Microsoft announcing that Gaming Copilot (previously called Copilot for Gaming) is now in the Game Bar for Windows 11 PCs, although the functionality is still in beta testing.

Microsoft is telling users to head to Microsoft 365 Copilot for their mobile scanning needs, though at present, Copilot lacks many of Microsoft Lens’s handy features and ecosystem integrations.
