The Chicago White Sox placed center fielder Luis Robert Jr. on the 10-day injured list with a left hamstring strain, the team announced on Sunday.

After waiting in vain for Luis Robert Jr.'s strained hamstring to get better, the Chicago White Sox placed their center fielder on the 10-day injured list prior to Sunday's game with the San Francisco Giants.

Robert suffered a left hamstring injury on Wednesday, which the team did not initially believe would require a trip to the injured list.
