Top-seeded Jannik Sinner is still looking for his first French Open victory and inched closer with a straight-set victory over the legendary Novak Djokovic in the semifinal. With the victory, Sinner advanced to the French Open final for the first time in his career.

The French Open final will be Alcaraz and Sinner’s 12th career meeting, and the first in a grand slam final. Alcaraz leads the overall head-to-head 7-4, including three wins in a row against the Italian, including in the Rome final last month.

Defending champion Carlos Alcaraz reached the French Open final after Lorenzo Musetti retired from their semifinal in the fourth set.
