The 49ers opened their preseason with a 30-9 loss against the Denver Broncos from Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. While there was some good and bad for the 49ers from the preseason opener, most fans just wanted a look at some of the fresh faces and for San Francisco to get out of the contest mostly in one piece.

Lucas Krull got the easiest touchdown catch you will see off of a blown coverage play by the 49ers. He had at least 15 yards between him and the closest defender. At least we got to see that at least one of our tight ends will catch wide-open passes when defenses give them that opportunity.

It took just 60 minutes of preseason football for the San Francisco 49ers ' wide receiver room to look its bleakest. Speaking with reporters on Monday, head coach Kyle Shanahan said that rookie wide receiver Jordan Watkins would be out for a month to recover from a high ankle sprain he apparently picked up during Saturday's 30-9 loss to the Broncos.
