During the Chicago Sky 's 2025 season opener against the Indiana Fever, Clark shoved Sky forward Angel Reese, who fell to the court. Clark received a flagrant foul on the play. After the foul, Reese bounced back from the ground and pointed in Clark's direction, yelling at the Fever guard.

Shortly after, Clark started to walk away, but Reese got up and gave her an earful. Fever center Aliyah Boston had to step in to hold Reese back. Eventually, Clark was assessed a flagrant one foul, and Boston and Reese each earned technical fouls.

The Angel Reese-Caitlin Clark rivalry added another chapter Saturday in the Chicago Sky’s 93-58 loss to the Indiana Fever in the season opener.
