The WBZ NEXT Weather team has been tracking three storms that potentially could have hit and impacted Massachusetts and the Boston area this week. That is now basically down to two.Storm #1 is going to essentially be a miss to our south.

A snowstorm blew through the Boston area overnight, dropping nearly 10 inches in one spot in Maine and almost half a foot to plenty of other towns across the region.

In Boston, 5.5 inches of snow fell at Logan Airport, where the city's official snow totals are measured by the National Weather Service. Boston has now had a total of 22.3 inches of snow for the winter of 2024-25. At this point last winter, it was just 9.2 inches.
