The cost of commuting on several Bay Area transit agencies, along with driving on the Golden Gate Bridge, has gone up on Tuesday as a series of fare and toll increases take effect.

Golden Gate Bridge tolls are set increase 50 cents on Tuesday, bringing the cost for most drivers to about $10.

On Tuesday, the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District will raise the toll for the legendary San Francisco Bay crossing by 50 cents.
