Elon Musk, the world's richest man and a close ally of President Donald Trump, has faced widespread accusations of making a Nazi gesture twice during a speech to a crowd of Trump supporters gathered at Washington's Capital One Arena for an indoor "Presidential Parade" on Monday, shortly after Trump's second inauguration.

Musk's response to the accusations has included the complaint that the "legacy media" is trying to cancel him.

"I’m ending my lease two months early. When the Tesla rep asked why I’m not considering another Tesla, I said I’m sick of being associated with Elon."

The world doesn't seem quite ready to let Elon Musk move on from the salute he made at Trump's inauguration. It's already been adopted by anti-Musk protestors, who projected it onto a Tesla plant in Berlin ahead of the impending federal election.
