Welcome to another edition of NHL Rumours. There is an understanding that the Toronto Maple Leafs are going to add at the trade deadline. They’ve been testing the waters for a middle-six forward, specifically a centre.

The first and second teams were selected by broadcasters, national, local and NHL.com writers who have covered the respective teams, in addition to select former players. The six players voted to each First Team will be on the ballot for the NHL All Quarter-Century Team that will be chosen via a fan vote that will start in February.

The Cats have traveled north and will face the San Jose Sharks at SAP Center on Saturday night. It will be the second and final meeting between Florida and San Jose this season after the two battled down in Sunrise back in early December.
