I attended a screening the other day (June 15) of “The Stringer,” a provocative film that challenges authorship of the famous “Napalm Girl” photo, taken in Vietnam in June 1972.

In 2022, Nick Ut and Phan Thi Kim Phuc traveled to the Vatican to present Pope Francis with a a copy of the "Napalm Girl" photo.

The "Napalm Girl' photo, as it became known, led to a Pulitzer Prize for Associated Press staffer Nick Ut.
