Michigan basketball programs, both men’s and women’s, are entering a golden era of the sport in Ann Arbor, where both Dusty May and Kim Barnes Arico are reaching new heights and show no signs of slowing down.

After watching Michigan's men's basketball beat Saint Louis on Saturday afternoon in Buffalo to reach the Sweet 16, Manuel returned to Ann Arbor in time to see the hockey team beat Ohio State in the Big Ten title game.

The notion started picking up some steam when Michigan steamrolled everyone in Las Vegas. Then the Wolverines won 19 Big Ten games, and an obvious question seemed to have a potential simple answer. Can the Wolverines win a national championship?
