Former Vol Christian Moore started at second base for the Angels. He went 2-for-4 and hit two home runs, one tying and one walk-off, to produce all of Los Angeles' runs in the contest. Moore struck out two times against Crochet. He totaled three RBIs, two runs and was part of one double play defensively.

Expected to be a work in progress at second base, the 2024 first-round draft pick has instead thrived there in less than two full weeks as a major leaguer.
