A Magical Life' debuted as part of Disneyland's 70th anniversary. The show features the first robotic figure of Walt Disney and appeals to the nostalgia of Disney fans.

The chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products talks to THR about the impact the Anaheim park had on immersive entertainment on its 70th anniversary, and what the next evolution may be.

For the first time since Walt Disney’s death in 1966, guests at Disneyland can get a remarkably lifelike glimpse of the man who started the first animation studios in California.

The "Tapestry of Happiness" projection show at Disneyland Park has been updated to include the new verse added to "it's a small world."

Within a decade of Disneyland’s opening, Walt Disney already knew Tomorrowland had a problem. “The tomorrows of 1955 had become yesterdays,” a park official said in 1967, quoting Walt’s realization that the future would always arrive faster than Tomorrowland could keep up with.

As a result, when the audio-animatronic Disney surveys the crowd, it feels like he's really looking at you. When Kirsten Komoroske, executive director of The Walt Disney Family Museum, saw it for the first time, she said she "felt the impulse to smile back at him."
