The travel ban for Bristol, Plymouth, Barnstable and Dukes counties is being lifted at noon, according to Gov. Maura Healey.

Following last week's fire, the Central bridge has reopened but truck traffic is restricted until further investigation and repairs are completed, said City Council President Jeovanny Rodriguez.

The 6-inch-wide branch fell, smashed through the windshield and landed between the driver's legs, missing him by inches, police said.
