IMPERIAL COUNTY, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - A man died Thursday night after crashing into a freightliner, according to California Highway Patrol (CHP).

The vehicle spun out of control on the freeway, slammed into a tree and was soon engulfed in flames, according to the CHP.
