Ethereum (ETH) is trading around $3,100 on Wednesday, with indications that investors might be positioning for a potential rally in February. From a technical perspective, ETH could rise by 35% if it achieves a high-volume move above the resistance level of a falling wedge pattern.

Mar. oats was off 3 cents at $3.50 a bushel. Mar. soybeans was up 0.75 cent at $10.60 a bushel. Beef was lower and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Short-term bitcoin holders who bought BTC near record highs exited the market at a $2.2B loss amid a selloff triggered by China's AI start-up, DeepSeek. Institutions also appear to be de-risking based on Chicago Mercantile Exchange activity.

In a now deleted "staging subdomain" page CME reported to have said futures contracts for XRP and SOL will go live on Feb. 10.
