NASCAR driver Carson Hocevar drew backlash from his fellow racers on Sunday because of his over-aggressive driving during the Ambetter Health 400.
The 22-year-old Hocevar finished second Sunday in Atlanta, but not without irking some of the sport's established stars.
Kyle Busch threatened to wreck Carson Hocevar after Stage 1 of Sunday’s Ambetter Health 400 at Atlanta. “Go tell that 77 [Hocevar] he’s done that same f***ing move 10 times,” Busch said over his radio.
He was chided primarily by Ross Chastain and Ryan Blaney, but the receiving line of disgruntled drivers waiting for Carson Hocevar could have been so much longer. After the latest thriller at Atlanta Motor Speedway,
Christopher Bell edged Carson Hocevar and Kyle Larson in overtime Sunday in another close NASCAR Cup Series finish at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
