State Farm is asking for another increase less than a week after being granted a 17 percent rate hike for its homeowners' policies in California.

A week after winning emergency approval to raise Californians’ home insurance premiums, State Farm is seeking to boost that rate hike even higher to 30%.

State Farm, California’s largest property insurer, is seeking the remainder of its originally requested 30% rate hike after getting emergency, temporary approval for a 17% rate hike earlier this month due to cost pressures from the state's wildfires.
