Bilal "BJ" Abdullah Jr., who was shot and killed by Baltimore police on Tuesday, June 17, was a popular arabber, who sold produce on a horse-drawn cart in the city, according to community members.

State officials probing the police shooting Tuesday evening that killed an arabber and wounded an officer in West Baltimore released the names of the three officers who they say exchanged gunfire

The Maryland Attorney General's Office identified the 36-year-old man shot and killed by police on Tuesday. The AG's Independent Investigations Division identified the man as Bilal Yusuf-Muhammad Abdullah Jr., of Baltimore.
