Rajasthan Royals captain Riyan Parag was left to rue a misfiring middle order after the inaugural Indian Premier League (IPL) champions became the second team to be eliminated from the playoff race this season.

Rajasthan Royals (RR) suffered a crushing 100-run defeat to Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Thursday. The defeat was RR's eighth in 11 matches. MI batted first and posted a score of 217-2.

After being eliminated from IPL 2025, Rajasthan Royals' fielding coach Dishant Yagnik made a rather 'bold' statement in the press conference praising behind picking players in auctions.
