DISCUSSION: A few showers and storms will be possible this afternoon across East Texas, but rain chances will be much lower than those of the past several days. The highest coverage of showers and storms will be in Deep East Texas.

The best rain chances already came and went Friday, but there will still be a few opportunities for showers and thundershowers today. Depending on if a little storm can pop into this mess, there could be a few isolated spots that end up with a lot of rain compared to almost everyone else.
