Prince Andrew stepped back as a senior royal in 2019 following his nuclear interview with the BBC where he denied Virginia Giuffre's claims. He settled with Giuffre in 2022 for an undisclosed sum.

Virginia Giuffre, who was the victim of sexual exploitation at the hands of Jeffrey Epstein and also accused Britain's Prince Andrew of underage abuse, has died by suicide, her family confirmed.

In separate, since-settled claims, Giuffre accused Epstein of sex trafficking, and said Andrew sexually abused her when she was under 18.
