Judge Beverly Cannone said the Read case continues to draw "daily, divisive attention" and jurors could face "a real and present risk" if their names were released.

Jurors in the Karen Read trial asked four questions Tuesday. One indicated they may be facing the possibility of a hung jury.

Judge Beverly Cannone, who presided over the lengthy trial, ordered that the list of names of the empaneled jurors in the trial be impounded on Wednesday. She cited safety concerns raised by a juror from Read's first trial, which ended in a mistrial.
