While he can’t yet go into detail, Danny Parkins is optimistic about his future at FS1. Breakfast Ball, which Parkins co-hosted with Mark Schlereth and Craig Carton, was one of three FS1 shows recently canceled.

According to reports, the longtime ESPN host would be open to a new gig at FS1 after that network canceled Speak, Breakfast Ball, and The Facility, and is line for a reshuffling of programs.

FOX Sports today revealed the broadcaster lineup for The Basketball Tournament (TBT), the exciting $1 million, winner-take-all summer basketball event. Tipping off Friday, July 18, a total of 26 games will be televised across FOX,

The cancellations happened because, per Marchand, the shows “struggled to find a huge audience.” The rest of the weekday lineup — featuring The Herd and First Things First — will remain. FS1 is expected to develop three new shows to replace the three that were canceled.

Former NFL running back LeSean McCoy appeared regularly on two of those cancelled shows and he had a comical reaction to losing those gigs.

A source confirmed The Athletic's report that the show will be canceled along with "Speak" and "The Facility." But the source also said that Parkins is expected to remain with the network. Fox Sports declined to comment.
