NVIDIA’s RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 GPUs come at a high cost on top of being difficult to acquire due to low stock, and it seems tariffs are to blame for the increased cost. That’s according to Newegg, one of the largest online retailers in the US for computers and computer hardware.

Compared to Nvidia's MSRP, the RTX 5090 is selling for $300 to $1,400 over asking price, while the RTX 5080 is around $140 to $500 higher at MSI and Asus stores. Currently, all of these GPUs are out of stock

MSI and Asus have raised the prices of Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 and 5080 gaming GPUs by hundreds of dollars, just a week after the launch.
