Rutgers Women's basketball earned its first Big Ten win of the season by taking down Penn State 76-72.

After a week off, Rutgers women’s basketball returned to action to battle the Lady Lions in a must-win game for both teams, as neither had won a Big Ten game up to this point.

With leading scorer Laila Phelia missing her first game of the season due to an injury, Dominique Darius stepped up for Syracuse with 26 points.
