Every time Kellen More was asked about possibly coaching the New Orleans Saints on Monday, the Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator smiled and gave a similar answer that he undoubtedly had plenty of time to prepare.

The New Orleans Saints have completed an in-person interview with Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore for their head coaching position. This was via an announcement from the team on Tuesday morning.

Per NFL rules, Moore and the Saints are not allowed to speak again until the conclusion of the Super Bowl on Feb. 9, as he is still a member of the Eagles’ coaching staff. Moore, 36, is in his first season as the Eagles offensive coordinator. He holds seven years of coaching experience at the NFL level.

Garafolo’s report came on the heels of a report from his NFL Network colleague Tom Pelissero that former Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy won’t be pursuing the Saints job any longer (incidentally, Moore was in the running for the job to replace McCarthy in Dallas, but the Cowboys promoted offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer ).

Kellen Moore is focused on conquering the Kansas City Chiefs and claiming the Super Bowl. However, he has continuously been linked away from the Philadelphia Eagles during this period. Former New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram has made his opinion clear on the possibility of Moore taking over as the Saints’ next head coach.

All signs point to the next New Orleans Saints head coach being Kellen Moore. The current Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator and play-caller recently talked to the media ahead of Super Bowl LIX against the Kansas City Chiefs.
