VERO BEACH −A Vero Beach woman won a $1 million prize from a $50 lottery scratch-off ticket purchased from a local convenience store, according to the Florida Lottery. The state department identified the woman as Janette Sill. The owner of the store where she purchased the ticket said she was a regular customer at the BP gas station, 1901 U.S. 1.

A lottery player has a lot to celebrate after scoring a life-changing prize in Florida. The player bought a Fantasy 5 game ticket that matched all the numbers picked in the March 5 evening drawing, making it worth more than $121,000, results show. The winning numbers: 5-14-18-19-22.

The Florida Lottery announced Tuesday that a resident of Lake Worth won a scratch-off game worth $5 million. The lottery said Ana Larsen, 60, claimed a top prize of $5 million by playing the Monopoly Secret Vault scratch-off game.
