EDMONTON -- Connor McDavid took some of his Team Canada equipment for a spin at practice last week in anticipation of the 4 Nations Face-Off. The Edmonton Oilers center wore the pants and gloves he will be using to represent Canada in the best-on-best tournament, which will take place Feb. 12-20 in Montreal and Boston.

The moment Connor McDavid and the hockey world at large have been waiting for is almost here. McDavid, the NHL’s transcendent star and one of the greatest players of all time, will finally get the chance to play for Canada in a best-on-best tournament as a pro.
