In a first teaser — now playing in theaters ahead of screenings of Jurassic World Rebirth — Christopher Nolan 's The Odyssey looks to be answering that call first put to page (or scroll) in Homer's ancient Greek poem of the same name.

The first teaser trailer for Christopher Nolan's epic "The Odyssey," starring Matt Damon, is currently playing exclusively in movie theaters.

As Bernthal narrates, saying things like "some say he’s rich or some say he’s poor,” the trailer shows us people moving in and out of caves, who are presumably Odysseus's crew. And, most relevantly, it shows Matt Damon as the man himself, floating on a raft in the sea.
