The Oregon Ducks landed class of 2026 edge rusher Anthony "Tank" Jones on Thursday. The five-star recruit went on The Pat McAfee Show and announced he would be committing to Dan Lanning and Oregon over the Alabama Crimson Tide and Texas A&M Aggies.

Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks scored a massive victory on the recruiting trail, getting a commitment from 5-star EDGE Anthony ‘Tank’ Jones, the fourth 5-star player they've added to the 2026 class.

Edge rusher Anthony “Tank” Jones committed to the Ducks on Thursday. The 6-foot-3, 245-pound Jones, who is from Mobile, Alabama, chose UO over Alabama and Texas A&M. Lott cited his relationship with Dan Lanning and defensive coordinator Tosh Lupoi in his decision to leave his home state for Oregon.
