The Food and Drug Administration announced the recall of cucumbers because of possible Salmonella contamination. Bedner Growers, Inc. of Boynton Beach, Florida voluntarily recalled the cucumbers which were sold at three markets in Florida and to a wholesale distributor.
These sandwiches — sold between Tuesday and Wednesday — might be contaminated with salmonella, the company said Thursday.
