The Bears are sticking with general manager Ryan Poles, who will serve as the "point person" for the team's search for a new head coach.

Bears general manager Ryan Poles said Monday there was no choice but to fire coach Matt Eberflus after repeated late-game mistakes that led the team to a disappointing 4-8 record.

Ryan Poles isn’t going anywhere. Bears president Kevin Warren confirmed Monday that the team’s current general manager “will remain the general manager” and spearhead the upcoming head coaching search following Friday’s firing of Matt Eberflus.
